Dr Jamie Andrews BVSc [Hons] MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon, opened Highett Street Veterinary Hospital in Mansfield in 1986. With its roots in large animal medicine, the clinic has grown with the town and now specialises exclusively in small animal care. 

Honesty and integrity are at the heart of the clinic's practice. The aim is to get it right first time to ensure minimal stress to your pet, provide the best possible outcome and keep owner costs reasonable and transparent. Surgery is only performed where appropriate and an estimate can be provided beforehand.

Jamie was born in the local Mansfield Hospital in 1956 and spent a happy youth growing up around the Mansfield farming community on Gundamain Pastoral Co. on the Delatite River. His last four years of schooling were at Scotch College as a boarder, after which he entered Melbourne University Veterinary College, graduating with an Honours Degree. He then worked in 6 different practices in 3 different countries before returning to Mansfield in 1986 to establish Highett Street Veterinary Hospital.
