Worming
FIRST FOUR MONTHS OF LIFE:
Puppies and kittens should be wormed every two weeks beginning at two weeks of age.
ONGOING:
Dogs and cats should be wormed every three months "when the seasons change". The common roundworm and hydatid tapeworm are both contagious to humans. Never feed you pets raw liver.
Heartworm
Preventative medication is recommended, particularly for dogs visiting Melbourne or travelling north. Preventatives include a monthly chew or annual injection which can be given with your dog's annual vaccination booster.
Fleas
Flea control is necessary only when your pet has fleas - Bravecto chewable tablets are the best for your pet.
